Virgin Gorda is the third-largest and second most populous of the British Virgin Islands. "The Baths" located on the southern end of the island is one of the BVI's major tourist destinations with huge granite boulders, forming scenic grottos and wading pools. Besides having one of the world’s natural wonders, what else makes Virgin Gorda so special? The general consensus in my opinion is that it’s full of warm friendly people who create a strong sense of family in a safe, secure community. Also very attractive, for those in the north-east of Virgin Gorda at least, is the close access to the Leverick Bay anchorage, the restaurants and bars of North Sound, and the central location in the Eastern island chain within the Brit- ish Virgin Islands, including Anegada. When you include the additional amenities provided by several exclusive yet quaint high end resorts, they all make for a winning combination that contributes to a much more relaxed lifestyle. Most private residences in Virgin Gorda have direct access to a marina and/or walking access to a white sandy beach and up to 6 acres in size.
